What is "Auto Pay"?
"Auto Pay" is our Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment service. The IBBCV offers this service in partnership with Checkfree Corporation. It is the easiest way to pay your monthly tuition, it is completely safe and secure...and best of all, it's FREE.

Our "Auto Pay" method of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is the easiest way for you to pay your monthly tuition. It's simple, secure...and best of all, FREE! Not only is "Auto Pay" free, but it saves you money on tuition too. You'll save $10 per month on tuition (a savings of $120 per year). And, when you enroll in the "Auto Pay" system, you will also become eligible for additional family discounts, an important plus for families!
HOW DOES "AUTO PAY" WORK?
Once you enroll in "Auto Pay", your financial institution will automatically send us your monthly tuition from your checking, savings or credit card account. It's your choice.
WHAT ABOUT SECURITY?
Payment is made by your financial institution only with your authorization. Federal banking regulations assure that only you can change the payment amount and method. What's more, Federal consumer safeguard regulations are even more stringent for EFT than when you pay by check which means that EFT is more secure than conventional checking. The IBBCV will not have access to your accounts! When you enroll in "Auto Pay" you are simply authorizing your financial institution or credit card provider to make the payments for you, on your behalf.
IF I ENROLL IN "AUTO PAY", AM I COMMITTING TO A LONG-TERM ENROLLMENT?
No. Since we are extending you a discount of $10 per month for enrolling in "Auto Pay", we do require a minimum enrollment of three months (three automatic payments via "Auto Pay"), after which you may cancel at any time.
IS IT DIFFICULT TO CANCEL MY "AUTO PAY" ENROLLMENT?
No, you can cancel your "Auto Pay" at any time or change the method of payment by simply writing us with your request. Please provide 30 days advance notice for charges or cancellations to become effective.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHETHER MY BILL HAS BEEN PAID?
Your payment information is itemized on your monthly banking or credit card statement.
DO I HAVE A CHOICE AS TO WHEN THE AUTOMATIC TRANSACTIONS WILL OCCUR?
Yes, You may choose to have your financial institution make your payments on the first or the fifteenth of the month.
IS "AUTO PAY" THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR ME?
If saving time and money are important, then "Auto Pay" is the right choice for you. Consider all that "Auto Pay" offers... Convenience - "Auto Pay" reduces the time and hassle of paying bills. Automatic payment means never having to remember to write and mail a check. "Auto Pay" simplifies your busy life. Control - You determine the method of payment. And you can cancel this free payment service for any reason, at any time after your 3-month minimum has been satisfied. Value - Not only is "Auto Pay" free, but it saves you money on tuition too. Why is there a long term price reduction after 12 months?
Our pricing structure is designed to promote uninterrupted, long-term participation, and to encourage families to practice taekwon-do together.
Learning a martial art takes time and patience. Students who view their training as a way of life (rather than as an extra-curricular activity) usually do best. Breaks in training cause students to take a step backward in their progress: techniques and forms are forgotten; flexibility, strength and aerobic conditioning are diminished. This can be frustrating and may cause disillusionment. Therefore, we want to offer the best prices to those dedicated students who train for the long term and without interruption.
Additionally, students who have a fellow family member (or members) enrolled often achieve better results than those who don't. When a parent is enrolled along with a child, this is particularly beneficial for the child. For example, both the parent and the child will struggle at times, each in his or her own way. This struggle provides the parent an opportunity to model the behavior he wants his child to exhibit under similar circumstances (e.g., work hard; don't give up when the going gets tough; maintain a positive attitude). By offering significant monetary cost savings, we hope to encourage and enable the family group participation that we believe to be so important.
Students will automatically be charged the lower long term prices after 12 months of uninterrupted enrollment at the IBBCV. If the membership is temporarily frozen or cancelled, the higher tuition rates will again apply when the student returns after their absence. But, after an additional 12 months of uninterrupted enrollment, the student will once again be eligible for the lower long-term rate.
The exception to this Policy is when a student (who is already eligible for long-term rates) becomes medically disabled such that a doctor requires him to temporarily discontinue training. In this case, we will freeze the membership and we will re-instate the student at the lower, long-term price when he returns.
